Terms & Conditions
Last updated: June 2026 (v1.0)
These Terms govern your use of Zilentino, a platform that lets teachers publish a booking page, set their availability, and let their own students schedule and pay for lessons.
1. Who we are
Zilentino is operated by Andrei Rezneac IT-Solutions, a sole proprietorship (Einzelunternehmen) owned by Andrei Rezneac, Wegedornstr. 257N, 12524 Berlin, Germany. You can reach us at contact@zilentino.org. Full details are in our Impressum.
In these Terms, "we", "us" and "Zilentino" mean the operator above. "You" and "teacher" mean the person or business that registers for a Zilentino account.
2. What Zilentino is — and is not
Zilentino is software that helps you run your own teaching business. We provide the tools: a public booking page, availability and lesson-type management, scheduling, and a connection to your own payment and calendar accounts.
3. Eligibility & accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date — including the contact and business details shown to your students.
- You may sign in using Google or an email-based login. You are responsible for maintaining access to the email address or Google account you use.
4. The teacher subscription
Use of Zilentino by teachers is provided on a subscription basis.
- The subscription costs €19 per month. As we are a small business under § 19 UStG, no VAT is added or shown.
- If a free trial is offered, the paid subscription begins automatically when the trial ends, unless you cancel before then.
- The subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled.
- Subscription billing is handled through our payment provider (Stripe). By subscribing you authorise the recurring charge.
Cancelling your subscription
If your subscription lapses (for example, after cancellation or a failed payment), your public booking page and teacher tools may be disabled. We will not delete your data immediately — see the Privacy Policy for retention details.
5. Payments between teachers and students
Students pay you directly. Each teacher connects their own Stripe account, and student payments for lessons flow straight to that account.
- Zilentino never holds, receives, or controls money paid by students. Students pay nothing to Zilentino.
- You set your own prices, lesson types, and packages.
- Your use of Stripe is governed by Stripe's own terms, and you are responsible for completing Stripe's onboarding and identity checks.
- You are solely responsible for issuing receipts or invoices to your students where required, and for your own taxes, reporting, and legal obligations relating to your teaching income.
6. Cancellations, lesson credits & refunds
Students book lessons against your published availability. Depending on the lesson type, a student may pay for a single trial lesson, a subscription, or a package of lessons that are scheduled over time. This section explains how cancellations, credits, and refunds work — both for your subscription to Zilentino and for lessons between you and your students.
6.1 Teacher subscription (€19/month)
- You can cancel at any time.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not end your current paid period — you keep full access until that period ends.
- The current billing period is not refunded, and partial months are not pro-rated.
- After the period ends, the subscription simply does not renew, and your teacher tools and public booking page may be disabled.
If a statutory right of withdrawal applies to you as a consumer, nothing here limits it; see 6.5 below.
6.2 Your cancellation policy
Each teacher sets their own cancellation policy in their teacher settings:
- Cancellation notice window — the minimum notice a student must give to cancel a scheduled lesson and have it credited back. The default is 12 hours, and you can set it between 4 and 36 hours.
- No-show forfeiture (always on) — a student who does not attend a scheduled lesson does not receive that lesson back as a credit. This applies to every teacher and is not a configurable setting.
The notice window that applies to a lesson is the one in force when that lesson is scheduled. If a lesson is rescheduled, the window in force at the time of rescheduling applies from then on. Zilentino shows the applicable window at the time of booking and in each lesson's details, so a student always sees the terms that govern that specific lesson.
A change to the notice window does not take effect immediately. It applies only to lessons scheduled on or after a future effective date, at least two weeks after the change is made. Lessons scheduled before that date — and lessons already scheduled — keep the window that applied when they were booked. A teacher's public booking page shows the window that is currently in effect.
You are responsible for the policy you choose and for ensuring it complies with applicable consumer law; Zilentino does not set or vouch for it.
6.3 Cancelling a scheduled lesson
- A student can cancel a scheduled lesson at any time.
- If the student cancels within the teacher's notice window, or does not show up for the lesson, the lesson is forfeited and is not credited back to the student's balance.
- If the student cancels before the notice window, or if the teacher cancels the lesson, the lesson is credited back to the student's balance on the platform so it can be rescheduled.
- A lesson credit is the right to schedule a future lesson — it is not, by itself, money.
- Because Zilentino does not hold student payments, any actual monetary refund to a student is solely the teacher's responsibility and is arranged directly between the teacher and the student (for example, via the teacher's Stripe account).
6.4 Student subscriptions & lesson packages
- A student can cancel a subscription at any time to stop future billing.
- However, lessons that have already been paid for remain available to be used — they are not automatically refunded on cancellation. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not erase lessons already purchased.
- Each lesson takes the notice window in force when that lesson is scheduled, regardless of which renewal paid for it. A later change to the window does not affect lessons already scheduled, and only takes effect on the future effective date described in 6.2.
- If a teacher increases their notice window, Zilentino shows the new window and its effective date before it applies, so a student can decide whether to keep booking or cancel their subscription beforehand.
6.5 Statutory consumer rights (EU)
If you are a consumer in the EU, you may have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for certain online purchases. Note that for digital services that begin immediately at your express request, this right can end once performance has started; and for lessons tied to a specific date and time, it may not apply at all. Where these statutory rights apply, they take precedence over this section and are not reduced by it.
7. Your responsibilities as a teacher
- You are responsible for the lessons you offer and the way you describe them.
- You must comply with all laws that apply to your activity, including consumer-protection, tax, and (where you work with minors) child-protection rules.
- You are responsible for the content you publish on your booking page and for the accuracy of your availability.
- You must handle your students' personal data lawfully. Where you act as the controller of that data, you are responsible for your own compliance.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Zilentino for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful;
- misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or services;
- attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the platform;
- upload malicious code or content that infringes someone else's rights;
- use the platform to send spam or unsolicited marketing.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.
9. Availability of the service
We work to keep Zilentino available and reliable, but we provide it "as is" and do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may carry out maintenance, update features, or change parts of the service over time. We are not responsible for failures caused by third-party services you connect (such as Stripe, Google, or email delivery) or by your own equipment or connection.
10. Liability
We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and for death or personal injury, as well as in any other case where liability cannot lawfully be excluded. For slight negligence we are liable only where we breach a material contractual obligation (one whose fulfilment makes proper performance of the contract possible and on which you may reasonably rely), and then only for the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract; any further liability is excluded.
In particular, we are not liable for the conduct of teachers or students, for the quality or delivery of lessons, or for payment disputes between them.
11. Term & termination
- These Terms apply for as long as you have an account.
- You may stop using Zilentino and close your account at any time.
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service, giving you reasonable notice where practical.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms — for example, to reflect new features or legal requirements. We will post the updated version with a new "last updated" date and, for significant changes, notify you by email or in the app. Continuing to use Zilentino after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected. Where you are a business, the place of jurisdiction is Berlin, to the extent legally permissible.
